Viva Editions are books that inform, enlighten, and entertain. The very name, "Viva!", is celebratory. And while Viva Editions is a line of books that are as fun as they are informational, the intention behind Viva is very serious—these are books that are truly helpful and intended to enhance people's lives.

Living live in the now:

{via etsy by Brooke Schmidt}
Every Monday features a tip, activity, inspiring quote or some other tidbit that helps boost your body image, whether directly or indirectly — and hopefully kick-starts the week on a positive note!
Got a tip for improving body image? Email me at mtartakovsky at gmail dot com, and I’ll be happy to feature it. I’d love to hear from you!
Journaling can help us boost our body image. We can use our journals to tune into our needs (and respond to them), better understand body-bashing thoughts, cultivate gratitude and process our emotions.
We can use them to identify what we truly need to nourish our body, mind and spirit.
Here are 20 journal prompts to help you dig deeper and improve your body image.

Wishing you all good things this Thanksgiving

Gifts of the Season
November 2012
2012 has been a roller coaster of a year with the election, the economy, and Hurricane Sandy. One big lesson we have learned is how acts of kindness and courage can show up in the face of difficulty. Viva Editions is inspired by that and we want to share our voices of passionate positivity in our mission to publish books for inspired living. Let us give thanks that times of challenge can also create community and remind us of what really matters in life.

Keeping a gratitude journal can change your life for the better. And quickly, too! Thankfulness is all about being aware of all the blessings in your life—the abundance found in each and every day. By taking just five minutes a day with the practices and prompts within, you’ll find yourself moving towards a happier and more fulfilling life.
