Being a newly single mother, I have realized how much it actually costs to run a household. Thankfully I have been able to do so these past 9 months… But there are a ton of GREAT tips in this book. Some of my favorite tips are:
1. Keeping a Change Jar. I have always had some type of Change Jar, but Since moving out on my own, I have made sure that any change that I had from my day, went right into the change jar. This jar – in 9months – is Almost completely full ( and it was only a quarter full when i moved)
2. Save a dollar a day. This is something that I have yet to do, but it is a super great idea. If you think about it. 1.00 a day … times 365 day - is a good chunk of change. You can put this towards bills, or if you have kids, put it towards their college fund.
There are another 200 plus pages of great tips and suggestions. You can purchase this bookonline for $15.95.
